I feel that this portrait shows an eaier way to do a typographic portrait.

Emigre Fonts
This is a typeface created by Emigre. Emigre is a digital type foundry and publisher of graphic design information.
My favorite of their fonts is this one called Totally Gothic.
I like this font because it has both sharp points and curves. It seems almost like they should not fit together, yet they do. I also like the boldness of the font.
